Crafted from fine bone china, the setting features a broad opalescent border with a delicately wrought white-on-white vine motif. Hand-enameled pearl white dots look like tiny buds, while generous platinum bands add a forthright note. Five pieces in all, the setting includes an 11-inch dinner plate, 8-1/4-inch salad plate, 6-1/4 bread and butter plate, 6-inch saucer, and 3-inch teacup. This was actually bought for my best friend- and it is beautiful and elegant. She has used her china 2 times now for holidays and has no complaints at all. She always is getting compliments on it. I honestly don't have much more to say than that since I have only seen it once and I have to take her word for it.

I purchased the Lenox Opal Innocence 5 piece place setting as a wedding gift for my daughter. It arrived quickly with all pieces arriving in beautiful condition. I couldn't believe my luck when I found her place setting on Amazon for $50.00 cheaper than the department store where she registered and I got free shipping on top of that!! (If you don't know, when you purchase a place setting at the department store you have to pay shipping- $22.00- they don't stock the china.) I ended up saving over $70.00!
Lovely china, poor packing August 5, 2009

2 place settings were sent as a wedding gift. A very lovely Lenox pattern. Great deal on Amazon.
As previous reviewer noted, Amazon box poorly taped, 1 flap barely taped down. 2 place settings inside in 2 Lenox boxes with some puffy airbag padding. One box flat, one on its side. NO padding on bottom between Lenox boxes and shipping box. One dinner plate arrived broken. Easy to report and have place setting replaced, (we hope) but annoying to have to report, repack and take back to shipping (though it is prepaid.)
Bone china dinnerware is fragile. We don't understand why it wasn't packed more securely.
