Product Description With the chip-resistant durability and fun colors you expect from Fiesta, the Square salad plate has a bold new shape that's worth celebrating. Ridged edges and a glossy finish bring out all the right angles.

| Customer Reviews: Fun shape for an old favorite January 3, 2010 Becky Laswell (Austin, TX USA) I love my Fiestaware, and these new square plates are a great addition to their product line. The square salad plate is the right size for many meals. These plates stack easily, and their squared-off shape makes them easy to fit in the cabinet and dishwasher (though I'm not quite as favorable toward the new square bowls -- which do not stack and are harder to clean). I like the new shape for plates as a new twist on this line of dishes, which has been a favorite of 3 generations in my family.
Like all Fiestaware, these square plates are a prone to slight scratches from silverware, but I find that to be part of their old-fashioned-but-modern charm. I find Fiesta dishes to be very sturdy for everyday use. The colors are bright and bold, just as pictured. The colors are inspiring for everyday, but also work well for special occasions.
I definitely recommend these square plates!
All the square salads are GREAT! August 8, 2010 Chicago Diva (Chicago, IL United States) Terrific to change up your Fiesta place settings or just for fun. I ordered 8, all in different colors, and that jazzes the table right up (my main Fiesta place settings are plum and ivory)...
While the square salad plates are fabulous - the square bowls are not so much. They do not stack - and that's a "fatal Fiesta drawback" for place setting pieces for me. The interior is round (fine!) but the bases/outsides are slightly squared off. It just doesn't work well for storage. I have 4 and I'll keep them, but I won't order more (rimmed soups/salads instead!)
